National Chronic Disease Coalition Launches Ohio Chapter
November 1, 2007

Thank you to all those who attended the OAHCA meeting on November 1, 2007. We heard from Dr. Kenneth Thorpe and from Billy Tauzin on the impact of chronic disease on our system of health care. Our Ohio speakers included Jack Ford, former Toledo Mayor and health care advocated; Dr. Manuel Tzagournis, The Ohio State University Medical Center; Dr. Hugo Melgar-Quinonez, The Ohio State University Extension Service and OSU Dept of Human Nutrition and Tiffany Himmelreich with the Ohio Hospital Association.
