
OAHCA Media Training Session

Ohio Advocates for Health Care Access held a media training session for its members. Ed Belkin, Vice President for Communications & Public Affairs at the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) in Washington, D.C., led the session.
Ed has vast media experience, previously serving as a Senior Vice President at Hill & Knowlton’s Washington, D.C. office, the Senior Director of Communications for U.S. Senator Dave Durenberger (R-Minn.), the Managing Editor at the NBC Radio Network in New York and Washington, and the Executive Editor and News Director at KYW Newsradio in Philadelphia, managing the nation’s top-rated, all-news operation.
Media training session participants were able to go through Ed’s training presentation, as well work on their communications skills during taped mock interviews.
