Health Reform Roundtable Discussion with Congressman Steve LaTourette

The Ohio chapter of the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease (PFCD) hosted a roundtable on health care reform with Congressman Steve LaTourette (R-Bainbridge Township) at the Solon Community Center.  

More than 20 health care advocates from state and local organizations attended and offered their perspectives on health care reform highlighting the need for better prevention and management of chronic diseases.

Chronic diseases, like heart disease, diabetes and obesity, account for 75 percent of all health care costs. The roundtable event was part of a series of roundtables the Ohio PFCD chapter is holding with members of Ohio’s congressional delegation.
