Ohio PFCD Roundtable with Congressman Boccieri

Members of the Ohio Chapter of the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease took part in a short roundtable discussion with Congressman John Boccieri to emphasize the need for better prevention and management of chronic diseases language in federal health care reform.

Ohio PFCD partners took the opportunity to discuss with the Congressman some of the latest information from the PFCD campaign as well as the recently-released Hitting the 'Bulls-eye' in Health Reform publication, which compares the current health care reform bills before Congress to PFCD’s policy principles. The publication also offers suggestions for improvements to the bills.
