Dayton Community Forum on Chronic Disease

The Ohio chapter of the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease (PFCD) and the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a breakfast forum featuring national and local perspectives about policies and practices that save lives and reduce health costs through more effective prevention and management of chronic disease.

The forum, which is co-sponsored by Wellness Connection of the Dayton Region, featured Amy Garcia, Executive Director of the National Association of School Nurses and National PFCD Advisory Board member, as the keynote speaker.

Amy Garcia, Executive Director of the National Association of School Nurses speaks about how chronic disease impacts our health care system. Following her remarks a panel of local health care advocates and professionals gave a local perspective on chronic disease.
